what does seo stand for

The true definition of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can be stated as a highly specialized process of building a successful website. We say successful because if a commercial website cannot be found in the major search engines, it is not successful, it just isn’t doing it’s job.

SEO directly addresses the need for a website to attract new and targeted visitors, who in turn will convert into buying customers.

Linkbacks – How To

This How To is designed as part of our guide to help you get the most from our huge linkback directory list.

Step 1

Create 8 new pages, one page for each prime keyword which we provide as part of our Affordable Search Engine Optimization. Give each page the name of the keyword that it is for.

Step 2

Fill each page with information relevant to the prime keyword for that particular page. For example, if your first prime keyword was “free online games”, then you would call the page “free-online-games.html”. You may or may not need the .html on the end depending what format your website is using. Remember to never use spaces in page names. You should use “-” instead of a space, most search engines will use this symbol and recognize it as a coded space giving you better search engine ranking results. The information that you put on each of the 8 pages must be relevant to that keyword and you should use the keyword about 5 times in 3 paragraphs.

Step 3

Add your traffic exchange code to each of the 8 pages you have created. Make sure that these 8 pages contain links to the rest of your site, but that your site does not link to any of these 8 pages.

Step 4

Upload your 8 pages to your server and select edit. If you are using cpanel hosting then after uploading the 8 pages to your website you would login to your cpanel, select “file manage” navigate to the pages you just uploaded, click on one of the pages and select “edit” from the menu on the top right. By editing your files on the server it saves you time uploading the pages after you have added each linkback. Instead, you just need to click save and then continue editing the page.

Step 5

Start working through the list of linkback directory’s. When you register, you will be given the code you need to insert into one of your 8 pages to return the linkback. You should cycle through the 8 pages, giving each linkback directory a different link until you cycle through all 8 and go back to the 1st one again. When doing this you should provide the linkback directory with the direct link for that page. This will boost your ranking in these 8 prime keyword searches.

To speed things up a bit you could open notepad and add the information you enter into the first linkback directory. You will be able to save time by copying and pasting the information into the other directory’s that you sign up for with only the web address and title that would change. The title of the linkback (if requested) should always be the prime keyword that you are using for the page you are directly linking with that directory.

To speed things up even further you could move through your prime keyword pages slower. Instead of using one prime keyword page and then move on to the next one, you could use each one 20 times before moving onto the next prime keyword and also using it 20 times before moving on.
